To allow users to play on computer, a team of volunteers linked a PEP device – the Flutter presented above – to a standard microphone and developed a code to convert the acoustic frequence produced by the PEP into usable computer data. We signed today a partnership with this team to be able to integrate their code in our games !
For you, it means that you only will need a microphone and a computer with an audio input to be able to use our games while doing your therapy ! Furthermore, the microphone will be usable with a pad and a smartphone.
Thanks to Eric Van Lancker, Romain Labbé, Phillip Trotter and Vincent Chritin from IAV Engineering who provided the audio technology ; to Pierre-Mikael Legris from Defitech Foundation who optimized the code and realized an interface for iPhone / iPad ; and to Brigitte Bouzin who is at the roots of that initiative.
